I am so impressed with this wine. Despite it being the youngest of La Crau, the vines are still older than 20 years. What to say really....this wine is sublime. Soft notes of red berries but the palate is ripe blue and black berries. Almost like grabbing a handful of berries out of a bowl and devouring them. Cloves as well then there's also an amazing granite like minerality to it while the finish lasts an eternity, similar to bell chime slow resonating out, as I said....sublime and this is only Brunier's second wine from the vineyard. — 12 years ago
Easy to drink out of the bottle. Unassuming. Berry driven with some forest notes. New world though, so earth is subtle. Sudden surprise at the end as this wine opened and presented clove and cinnamon. — 11 years ago
My all time favorite. Fruit forward and very smooth. Hints of cherry and plum. — 11 years ago
This was good but I still prefer the Anderson Valley Pinot. — 11 years ago

Ilaria says it all (see below), but I will chime in just to clear some air. Zin came from Croatia to us, then back to Italy where it has this tag. I find it a bit tight compared to our zins, but decant it and it comes back home.! Ciao! — 10 years ago
