Best Gamay I've ever had. — 10 years ago
On the nose : Fresh honeysuckle with a touch of elderflower, broiled lemon, soft cheddar and bubbling spring with roasted pear which follows through on the palate with the elderflower and the honeysuckle, as well as young kiwi. Has almost a sake like texture with encompassing weight but is light at the same time. The weight dissipates while the flavor lingers. High acidity that is incredibly balanced — 5 years ago

Tiny hint of reduction but beyond that it is super floral and with loads of cherry fruit. Iron, very mineral. Elemental stuff. Dusty and very very refined. Hit of licorice. Really alluring nose. Just stunning. These wines give nothing in their youth and then the blossom. Stunningly fresh and vibrant with still some tannic grip but wonderful balance and depth. Saps your palate and tales of over. This is truly on its way to being great. It’s long and saline and has floral echoes on the finish. Profound. But with age, 3-6 more years, this will be lights out. — 6 years ago
Very Mineral and earthy, fresh and way too young. — 9 years ago
Closed up. Maybe air would help, might be too cold. Still I enjoy what's there. — 10 years ago
Powerful and brooding fruit. Blinded this wine drinks like a wise teenager. — 10 years ago

2011. Lovely soft and elegant. Time to drink up — 10 years ago
Liked this quite a bit. Grenache blend from S Rhone. Ripe strawberries, tart red cherry. Lotsof black pepper, dried herbs, cured meat. Good value too. — 12 years ago
Gamay forever!! SIGHT: burgundy red; light, clear. SMELL: slight farm floor, overripe plum flesh, nostalgia. TASTE: strawberry candy, slight tartness, pleasant tannins, light bodied — 5 years ago
I love surprises. I bought this 15 years ago to have one night with a bowl of pasta. I didn’t expect to wait this long but I’m glad I did. Gorgeous and fully mature, just how I like my women. 😀. Nice gritty fruit, very complex with an earthy/forest floor profile. Who says the vintage has to be perfect? Not me — 6 years ago
Sans soufre. Racy but clean and polished, no volatility presenting. Bright floral aromatics, great acidity and freshness. — 7 years ago
Visual: opaco y algo turbio por los sedimentos. Color profundo.
Nariz: potente, blackberry (mora), cereza, madura. Composta, zetas, cuero, barnyard.
Boca: buen balance, taninos M ya refinados, acidez M, alcohol M+.
Me parece que ya debe tomarse puede estar pasando su pico.

It was bound to happen eventually...my final btl, and perhaps best yet. A lovely, exuberant Moulin-a-vent Sad this is my final btl, sigh. — 5 years ago
