Seven Lions with Lisa. Went well with steak tartare and cream of potato soup. Not great with mussles in white wine — 10 years ago
This needs to be opened a good hour or two before drinking. Should age well. — 10 years ago

Very delicious, toasted caramel and rich porter-like flavour. Hard to place what else I'm tasting but this robust ale is unique and a seasonal treat. — 11 years ago
Lions mane mushroom nose, balanced acid plum skin Italian oh yes — 12 years ago
The '06 K Vintners Syrah 'Motor City Kitty' is an opaque purple/black full-bodied wine. Expressive and succulent aromas of smoked meats, roasted spice, blackberry and black cherry jump from the glass. Some flowery and tarry notes are evident on the lengthy finish. I just need to find out what Charles Smith's connection with Detroit, the Motor City, is all about. Is it the Tigers, the Lions, or an old girlfriend? — 12 years ago

Dry old world style Malbec. Everything you would expect of an affordable classic. Dry, tannic and offering deep raspberry tone in the nose without being the least bit jammy. 2012. Would buy it again in a heartbeat. — 10 years ago
