Brick red in color with aromas of fresh wood shavings and sweet strawberries; slightly acidic with a very nice finish — 10 years ago
Great work by Philippe Faure-Brac, owner of Le Bistrot du Sommelier in Paris - my old stumping ground — 11 years ago
16.5/20 (89/100) Свежее и приятное вино с ароматами зеленого перца и горошка, земляники и цветов тысячелистника. Достаточно тельное с умеренной кислотностью. Земляничное во вкусе. Дача летом. #prowein2018 — 7 years ago
Not quite as good as Prieure Roch's gamay but still quite fun — 7 years ago
Headed to the Right Bank of Bordeaux with this 2012 Château Beauséjour Fronsac. Warm attractive bouquet with great blackberry aromas. @marika_vida #wines — 10 years ago
Palish red with a brick rim. Mellow, soil-driven scents of coffee, faded rose, mocha, cedar and truffle, with red berry notes in the background; comes across as complex and mature. Quite suave but a bit peppery and lean on first pour, showing moderate flesh but surprising energy thanks to its firm acidity and minerality. Initially seemed a bit lacking in intensity (perhaps from the vintage's generally high yields) but gained in suppleness and volume with aeration. Finishes with a firm spine of dusty tannins that avoid dryness. I find this quite sexy now with some aeration and would certainly want to drink it within the next several years. Incidentally, Jérôme Faure-Brac did not start vinifying at Drouhin until 2005. (Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, March 2018) — 7 years ago
In Paris. A smooth upfront taste of dark fruits but with a tiny tiny hint of orange. A medium finish with an excellent tannin finish. — 8 years ago
