I see Raspberries and some cherries but not plums as noted on the back of the bottle. Quite harsh. Compared to the Renaissance from Oregon from Jadot - so essentially the same conglomerate on two continents - this is much more light weight and lacks real intensity and interest I would suggest drink up now - reasonable but not more. It was a gift. This will certainly not take cellar space. Softened over night so two more point for Gryffindor. — 4 months ago

It's a #champagne type of day!! — 11 years ago
Same comments as before. Luscious, opulent, big and bold wine. Great strong mouthfeel, big chewy tannins, blackberry, black cherry, cassis, vanilla, strong minerality. A big wine and really enjoyable. — 3 months ago
Love it!! Favorite napa cab !! — 4 months ago
Where do I begin… this wine is stunning.
It is positively golden in color with concentrated notes of caramel, butterscotch, vanilla, creme brûlée, dried apricot, yellow apple, peach, nectarine, yellow cherry, kumquat, baked quince, lemon curd, honeysuckle, butter cream, lavender,, dried herbs, fennel, beeswax, honey, chamomile, hazelnut, praline, honey, & wet stones…
It’s textured!!! Waxy & mouth coating, full bodied, round, & opulent.
Alcohol is high at 14.5% ABV — it’s warming but balanced and integrated with the deeply rooted flavors and elevated, vibrant acidity. Yum!!!!!

Taking its name from the sea and sun – the two forces of nature that shape its character. Pale lemon, aromas of Stone and tropical fruits, with floral and sweet spice notes. On the palate flavors of apple, peach & apricot with lemon zest and toasty vanilla notes. Smooth long finish, well balanced, nice acidity, ending with fruit, vanilla oak and mineral character. Sip’s well now. Pair this with some fresh tuna! — 7 months ago

This was our second bottle. First was uninspiring and despite the 97pt RP rating, found it to be disappointing. The trick is to let it breathe for at least an hour to let the flavors develop. It is no Opus One but very satisfying with a juicy steak or just plain enjoyment! — 8 years ago
En magnum. Exactly what Cali can should be. Ripe fruit, soft tannic structure, sweet tobacco and spice. — 10 years ago
Drinking extraordinarily well right now. Get it if you can.... — 11 years ago
Wife pulled@from@cellar. Said she checked before opening and it was a $40 bottle. I enjoyed it very much. Been a minute for wine. Helped lube the wife up a bit. — 4 months ago
In southern Burgundy, at the northern border of Beaujolais, lies the Pouilly-Fuisse appellation. Pale lemon color with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and sweet floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple, melon and lemon citrus with notes of honey and vanilla oak. Medium+ finish, vivid acidity and ends with minerality. Consistent quality! Nice! Good value! — 5 months ago

Rich yellow in color with a golden hue.
Fruity on the nose and medium in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing ripe citrus fruits, yellow apples, light apricots, spices, light cedar, earth, herbs and white pepper.
Long finish with lemons and light spices.
This 9 year old Napa Chardonnay is drinking beautifully now. Rich and fruit forward. Juicy and entertaining. Alcohol is nicely integrated by now.
Elegant and nicely balanced. Complex, engaging and good right out of the bottle.
Drinking at its peak, and will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years.
Good by itself as a sipping wine.
14.9% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

A bit dusty in the nose but it opens with cherries, blackberries and a touch of dark cocoa. Nice balance between florals and spice. Tannins are silky and it has a full finish. I'd say medium body but very good value. — 3 months ago
