It's bill's 32nd birthday and we're at Keens eating steak and mutton and this is the least tannic wine on the list (supposedly) and I'm glad I wore a loose dress. — 9 years ago

Keens. A step down from my Paris drinking level, but mighty fine. In a nice drinking place. — 11 years ago

Man. Sometimes this guy hits it so far out of the park that you don't even know where you are. This has all of the interstellar power of Raveneau with a pure poetry all Dauvi's own. HONEY for days, lovely spice on the nose and a very long finish. Thank you! Post Keens — 8 years ago

Ridiculous. Universal wows at the table. Structure, great flavor, no tannins. Cherry cola was pronounced for a bit. Decanted for 20 minutes. At Keens Steakhouse. — 9 years ago
Burgundian elegance, youthful fruit, nose of ancient structure, ideal companion to dry aged beef. Keens! — 11 years ago
Inky. Amazing with the bacon at Keens. Bargain on this list! — 12 years ago
Nice 100% Malbec from Cahors. Always thought that to be Cahors, had to include 30% of Merlot and/or Tannat. Good weight and mouthfeel, slightly silky but with enough acidity that it wasn't velvety. Dark fruits on the palate, and a bit sweet. Had with the mutton chop at Keens. — 8 years ago

After the stewed fruit blew off, came together well. Almost had some Bordeaux quality, with a bit of leather and maybe cedar. Fruits not overly pronounced but nice. At Keens Steakhouse. — 9 years ago

Just a fantastic wine. Deep fruit with both primary and secondary characteristics. Intense nose. Long finish with just enough structure / acid to hold it together. Really singing - no need to wait longer. Can't imagine a better pairing with a mutton chop at Keens, it was perfect. — 8 years ago
