Part of Nebbiolo's deception is its ruby red color. The flavors or tar, violets, and red fruit are unmistakable. When some of your pals are switching to party whites a man must keep pounding the Reds. This is a great wine at almost QPR levels. The velvety body matches the finish which lingers for half a minute — 8 years ago

I suspect this is a super Tuscan, but it was a great finish to the evening. Really solid acidity balanced out the robust plum and inky thickness of this wine. 2010. 15% also, which is kinda crazy. — 9 years ago
