Given to me by old friend Marvin Stauffer. This Chateau was his favorite. Rest in Peace Marv! — 12 years ago
So much salinity and complexity on the nose. Super mineral with a little texture on the palate. Really really pretty wine especially for the cost! — 9 years ago
I will miss this bottle it was fantastic — 10 years ago
I'm not normally swayed by beautiful bottles...but on top of being a really beautiful rose, this was also a really beautiful bottle. Just a hint of sweetness peeking through the dry. Another crowd pleaser. — 10 years ago

This was dynamite for the price. Needed some time to open up but after about 2 hours in a decanter, it sang. Rich texture reminiscent of some of Von Niepperg's higher end estates. What I loved most was the absolute seamless and perfect integration of oak on this bottle. Rarely have I been as pleased with the oaking regiment of a wine as I was with this wine. Perfectly sweet oak and vanilla coming through without being too prevalent. A beauty of a bottle for $25. — 9 years ago
