Very nice! Slightly crisp, but rich, with noticeable botrytis. — 7 months ago
Solid, versatile red table wine. — 8 months ago
First time trying this. Opened 8 hours before and decanted for 4, which I’d suggest at this stage. I don’t think I would have guessed Bordeaux blind, probably would have gone something from Piedmont. Not actually giving a ton on the nose, but quite nice and deep plum / purple fruited / leathery on the palate. Hauntingly balanced finish that goes on and on. Very nice. — 9 months ago
2020 spring / summer. Really nice - I hadn’t had any de Moor in a while but this was at least as good as I remembered. Honeyed and savory, lots of chalky minerals — 5 years ago
This is our staple. Dry, fruity and a little spicy. We really like it. — 6 years ago
Lemon custard. Nice acidity and an elegant mid palate. Can’t wait to try again later. — 7 years ago
Shannon brought. Loved!
Regular edition did not love. Kept awake. — 8 years ago
Loved this. Not too rich, and yet still distinctly "chard." — 10 years ago
Still fresh. Amazing how well it's aged. — 12 years ago
Beautiful perfumed nose, balance between heavy fruit forward cab and earthy Syrah. Perfect Halloween haunt. — 6 months ago
Bright medium ruby , perhaps a little more ruby on the rim than the Clos de la Dioterie . More sweetly fruited , with more red fruits than dark , spiced cherry , strawberry, raspberry , rose , roast red pepper, cranberry. Quite rounded tannin , balanced acidity . On the palate mixed summer fruits with strawberry , red cherry with good density, quite juicy but well balanced . Roasted pepper , spicy cherry , wet slate infused finish with medium length. This probably will improve over the next 5 or so years and last well a further 5-8 — 8 months ago
Better than I expected. Not sure how much we paid, but well worth the price, regardless. — 9 months ago
Love this wine! Not too sweet. — 5 years ago
Very smooth and sweet. — 5 years ago
Like this wine but doesn’t have the power that some of his other wines have pencil lead iron cherry fruit - liked it from an aromatic standpoint more than flavor and finish — 7 years ago
How have I not had this wine in my life before? Leafy green tones, dizzying array of orchard and citrus fruits, all super bright and ripe, fresh mushrooms, ginger candy, fresh soil, wax, and stones. Mouth coating and dense. Acidity is persistent but not searing. Balanced from start to finish. — 9 years ago
Went very nicely on sunny evening with grilled trout — 10 years ago
Our go-to white — 13 years ago
Beautiful and very well rounded. Less sweet than I usually like but still so tasty. Very full on the nose- hints of flush red fruit. Nice acidity and tannin balance. — 7 months ago
Fresh, fruity. Citrus and creamy. Jean charles boisset N21° brut cremant de Bourgogne @5280, Peiroth, 241011 — 7 months ago
Easy drinking, need to let it open up a bit — 8 months ago
Nose has chalkboard dust, mashed cherries, raspberry, ripe currant, oak bark, (minor) moist garden soil, milk chocolate bar and moist pipe tobacco.
Palate has crushed cherries, orange peel, ripe black currant, blackberry, graphite and medium tannins. Long finish, amazing bottle this evening.
About two years since our last bottle, doing very, very well this evening, can hold another 6-12Y (2026-32) in proper storage. — 5 years ago
Opens up nicely with a lovely nose and reasonably long finish. Vanilla, leather, and berry essence. — 6 years ago
Full bodied and spicy. Great with grilled ribs — 7 years ago
My go to rose... great mix of RHONE varietals that show lovely fruit . Top level domestic rise. — 8 years ago
