Quite the sexy medium rose color with all the bubbles you could want to tickle your nose or your fancy. Creamy and delicious from beginning to end. Blood oranges and strawberries with raspberry jam and fresh herbs. Just a hint of pastry and summer flowers.

Owing to the reserve wines added, this is such a well balanced and thoughtful offering. Rich and powerful and luscious all at once. Crisp fruit on the palate with blackberry cobbler, fresh cherries, and lemon zest. Smoke and spice and everything nice. Really, really fun. — 9 months ago

Ensuite, la bouche est fondue, fraiche. C’est délicat, élégant, subtil….
Pour autant la fin de bouche tombe rapidement, pas un grand terroir ?
Sur le fruit rouge, très nerveux mais j’aurai aimé du havane, du tabac….

2000 vintage. With Olivier, Stan and Jay at Krug. Deep and rich notes of citrus and stone fruits, iodine and seaweed. Toasty and bready. Very complex and concentrated. On the palate, high acidity, medium body and alcohol, deep concentration of flavour but with elegance and finesse. Very long finish. More mature and rich than I was expecting.
