Amazing wine. For me its texture stood out most. Crystalline and pure silk with unbelievable mouthfeel, volume and tension, gaining weight with each pour and building as the night went on. This will be one of the greatest Champagne’s ever made in 10 years. — 8 months ago

Excellent nose, aromas of strawberry and cherry. Perfect balance of flavor and dryness. Excellent, especially for its price. Drinks like a $50+ sparkling. — 8 months ago

Regular edition did not love. Kept awake. — 8 years ago
Really nice, I was surprised, full bodied, a little young, good value for the price. This was the 2012 vintage. — 10 years ago
A dense glass-staining purple, the '06 Charles Smith Syrah 'Royal City' is a monumental wine. Big, pungent aromas of game, truffles, black olives and dried fruits exploded from the glass. Complex, but still seamlessly balanced. The tastes stayed on the palate for a seemingly infinite length of time. Simply wonderful! — 12 years ago
A blend of 4 grand cru and one blanc de blanc. As good as I have enjoyed from Piper H — 6 months ago

Light yellow in color.
Strong nose of apples, yeast, spices, bread, minerals and sea salt.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity, and medium plus sized bubbles.
Dry on the palate with citrus, apples, pears, light earth, yeast, vegetables, spices and bitter herbs.
Nice finish with limes and almonds.
This 13 year old Vintage Champagne feels young and needs 5 years in the bottle to mature properly.
Rich and extracted with lots of bread notes. Elegant and robust.
Showing nice complexity, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
Paired beautifully with fresh oysters.
A blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. Disgorged in 2020.
12% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

An extraordinary bottle that is a near-perfect blanc de blancs. Medium gold in color, the wine has a beautiful mousse even at 25 years of age, with fine bubbles and a tantalizing aroma conveying powerful primary, secondary and tertiary notes. The nose shows fresh and preserved lemon, green and golden apple, acacia, hawthorn, hazelnut, wet stone and flint. On the palate, the wine is dry but has a wonderful medium-bodied richness. There is vibrant, high acidity that gives the wine great energy. Flavors include smoke, flint, wet stone, preserved lemon, green apple, golden apple, dried acacia, hazelnut, and a hint of roasted coffee along with a pleasant saline quality. The wine has a very long finish and is compelling to drink now though it can certainly age for another decade or more. Outstanding. — 6 years ago
My go to rose... great mix of RHONE varietals that show lovely fruit . Top level domestic rise. — 8 years ago
Black fruit driven. Alcohol a little too high, but smooth tannins. — 10 years ago
