L'Intrus Red Blend 2016

Crunchy cranberries with some spicy notes! Great acidity that keeps the wine fresh throughout a meal, yet manages to stand up vs some chunks of filet. — 6 years ago

Monthélie Red Blend 2015

Some lighter crunchy red fruit followed by darker fruit and solid tannins. Needs some more time in the cellar. Good structure and will likely cellar well. — 5 years ago

L'Intrus Pinot Noir Chardonnay 2016

Actually riesling, apparently with grapes from the mosel. Cloudy medium green gold; flamboyant ripe peach and pineapple; mainly bitter and slightly astringent, prob skin contact, with low-medium heat and acidity perhaps damped by cloudy texture but all in all mouthwatering at end. Idea is skin contact to balance out good but overripe grapes? — 6 years ago
