A fun high QPR favorite of ours. Great food wine that really can match with a wide variety of flavors. Juicy purple fruit with bright acidity that makes it a solid pairing with most foods. — 5 years ago

Monthélie Red Blend 2015

Some lighter crunchy red fruit followed by darker fruit and solid tannins. Needs some more time in the cellar. Good structure and will likely cellar well. — 6 years ago

L'Intrus Pinot Noir Chardonnay 2016

Actually riesling, apparently with grapes from the mosel. Cloudy medium green gold; flamboyant ripe peach and pineapple; mainly bitter and slightly astringent, prob skin contact, with low-medium heat and acidity perhaps damped by cloudy texture but all in all mouthwatering at end. Idea is skin contact to balance out good but overripe grapes? — 8 years ago
