Grower champagne from Verzenay; also the chair of the Cave Co-op in Verzenay for some years, and JP's father before him (who has disgorged me wines still on lees back to 1928); is Verzenay Grand Cru though not stated; JP is a specialist pinot noir grower, with a slice of chardonnay; wine is boldly pinot power, nice tang on finish, fresh and delicious; taut, full, tons of yeast; great Christmas breakfast Champagne + fruit. — 11 years ago
Citrus peel nose. Orange / tangerine. Soft and giving on the palate and creamy on the palate. Elegant. No heat on the finish. Probably the best expression of VS Cognac I've tried. — 10 years ago

I wanna say "fucking fantastic". Am I allowed to say that? Anyway, this is an absolute stunner, fresh and bright. Makes me believe Spring is actually here. — 10 years ago
