Crazy value champagne. Good balance, real yeastiness, great depth, soft bubbles, long finish. Could use a smidge more acid but for the price hard to complain. Enjoyed. — 7 years ago
Rose and honeysuckle on the nose. Incredibly delicate tasting. Apple and hints of vanilla and sugar plums. Not overly sweet or fizzy. Big fan. — 7 years ago

Grower champagne from Verzenay; also the chair of the Cave Co-op in Verzenay for some years, and JP's father before him (who has disgorged me wines still on lees back to 1928); is Verzenay Grand Cru though not stated; JP is a specialist pinot noir grower, with a slice of chardonnay; wine is boldly pinot power, nice tang on finish, fresh and delicious; taut, full, tons of yeast; great Christmas breakfast Champagne + fruit. — 11 years ago
Oct 23, 2020. Celebrating champagne day. This ones a winner! 70% Pinot noir, 30% Chardonnay. Tart green apple. So good! — 5 years ago

Citrus peel nose. Orange / tangerine. Soft and giving on the palate and creamy on the palate. Elegant. No heat on the finish. Probably the best expression of VS Cognac I've tried. — 10 years ago

This was tremendous! So beautiful. The Pinot Noir here (80%) showed so well. Fine mousse. This was disgorged in 2012. — 5 years ago
