On the palate flavors of raspberry, blackberry, and crushed red cherries with notes of cedar and baking spice, lively acidity, fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit and earthy notes. This is Clos Pepe’s Dark Side bottling, which they only made a few times. What an excellent PN, loaded with dark cherries, other dark fruits and some cola. There was a little left in the decanter about an hour or so after dinner and the fruit was gone as well as the long sweet finish. I had opened and decanted it about an hour before dinner and maybe that was too much time but got through dinner fine. — 8 months ago
