Oak and spice aromas. Lots of oak. Darker red fruit and some black, lots of oak spice on the palate. Way too young right now. — 6 years ago
This is a 100 % organic Syrah grown on decomposed granite hillsides in Saint Joseph, displaying violet, ripe black fruits with hint of dried blueberry, black pepper and vanilla. Slightly musky, dusty, med plus body with great acidity and med plus tannin. A wonderful Saint Joseph has depth, structure, and fruitiness. — 6 years ago
A delightfully full bodied Bordeaux. Drank on its own it was very nice and would probably be better paired with red meat or dark chocolate. — 9 years ago

Tour du Vin à St. Emilion - Château des Laudes. — 12 years ago
Young St. Emilion blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Red berries, plum and smoky notes. Medium to full bodied, chrisp acidity and some heat from alcohol. Still a little bit off, needs year or two to settle down. Don’t know can I wait so long for this very decent wine with excelent value. — 6 years ago
Tour d’Argent. Tawny, heavy color in the glass. The Somm smiles. I smile. The room smiles. This is killer juice that opens with a fragrant bouquet of ripe bing cherries, earthly spice, some sois bois, and some Asian spice. I’ve had this wine probably 10+ times and this is easily the best of them. Silky smooth. The nose is sexual. Killer juice. Worth the price. — 6 years ago
I had a bottle of this wine a while ago and it was spectacular: 94pts. The second, which I drank a few weeks ago, was very good, but not as good as the first one, but still pretty decent: 90 pts. On average 92. A fine claret by the owners of Cheval Blanc. — 8 years ago

Wine at Jardin Notre Dame — 12 years ago
Deep garnet purple in the glass. Abundant nose of cassis and graphite, echoed on the palate with a bit of additional black fruit. Medium acidity. Medium tannins. Lengthy, dark finish. Classic right bank Bordeaux that’s drinking very well now, but still has a few good years left. Filet with Bordelaise is a natural, but work your way out from there. — 6 years ago
Like Pinot Noirs? This one is not to be missed. Subtle, but velvety fruit you would expect from Bourgogne - but a slight tanginess on finish. Paired incredibly well with our walleye! — 6 years ago
Great wine with tannins, decant to fully explore and enjoy. — 6 years ago

Easy, smooth, light — 9 years ago
Smells smoky dark fruit. Not tart cherry. Ripe blueberry and chocolate. Very smooth and dry. Not spicy. Not tobacco. Not musty. Not earthy. Not sweet. I know what it's not. But not able to think of what it is. Very drinkable. I wonder how it will taste tomorrow. Medium body so should be good next day too. Some floral to it too. I enjoy it. One of my favorite regions. — 9 years ago
Full of rich juicy cherries and currants with hint of vanilla. Very modern in style with soft tannin. Super approachable Bordeaux wine. — 9 years ago
