Yummy. Good body, floral nose if pleasant, sweetness and follow through is mellow and round. — 6 years ago

roses, perhaps potpourri, red fruits, some minerality, and a slight baby diaper funk ~ bright red fruits dominated by cherry but from strawberry & watermelon rind to cranberry & pomegranate, sour & tart then a finish w bay leaf and balsa wood — 8 years ago

There's Sancerre then there is stuff like this. We import Vatan, so I can't say it's the best SB in the book, but it's certainly one of the best. Rare that I can drink SB. — 10 years ago
Very mild nice wine — 11 years ago
— 6 years ago
Black cherry, boysenberry, blood orange, sassafras, licorice, clove, allspice, tobacco. Dark fruit profile, serious acid and very grippy tannins. A bit hard and austere on the palate right now but has the stuffing to age a few years and round out some of the jagged edges. Fair amount of complexity and depth for a more than reasonable price. — 6 years ago
In your face vanilla and then dark cherry. Good amount of tannins left this needs more time. Nice but not overly complex. Raspberry tart in the glass.
However this could be very good in 3 more years. — 8 years ago
2007 is still young. But very delicious — 8 years ago

Organic $35, decant for 30 minutes. 55-60 degrees “ The palate is wonderfully textured with a nice balance of citrus and creamy fruit trees.“ Ian Cauble, SommSelect — 6 years ago
Apple and lemons on both the nose and the pallet. Creamy texture with a hint of RS on the long finish. Very easy drinker. Almost regal in a way. — 6 years ago
Almost identical to Amayna from Chile, with a dry touch. Easy to enjoy. — 7 years ago
The oak and minerality stand out on their own. Would love to revisit in a few years once they've calmed and melded together. #happyfriday #meursault #marchand — 8 years ago
Great bright fruit. Nothing complex but it is fresh, juicy, smooth and incredibly easy to drink. I would buy it again. — 8 years ago

Funky as you'd expect a Kermit Lynch rose to be. Drank this one on its own, but probably best suited to drinking with food - tannin/structure, and not a ton of fruit. Tons of personality though! I'll be giving this one another visit, next time with dinner (or lunch...or breakfast?) #rosebouquet — 9 years ago
2013 vintage. Some green notes. Savoury spice and oak. Decent finish. High acidity. Bit unbalanced. — 9 years ago
2006 is changing my view of Pinot noir from meh to wow, now I get it! — 10 years ago

A fantastic, serious wine and a fantastic deal. Really classic Morey st Denise. An enchanting and intoxicating nose with dark fruit, sweet earth, meaty notes, bay leaf and thyme; a hint of leather and game, maybe eucalyptus or amaro and an ethereal undercurrent of natural woods, woodsy without oaky or vanilla notes. Powerful, Round, rich, silky and savory on the palate. Not at all opulent but just in a great window with some resolves tannins despite still having a strong tannic spine. Baking spices followed by Sweet earth and sandalwood dominate a long finish. With air, also get a long dark cherry note, maybe some chocolate covered cherry. Deeper and more exotic savory notes. SIlky, plush and an earthier expression of a chambolle. Serious, and maybe even sexy ;-) — 5 years ago
