With the outstanding aromas of pear skin and wet gravel hiding the extraordinary sweet fruit flavors beneath it, my first glass was unexpected. Lychee and melon tastes abounded with exclamation points. — 9 years ago

For the price point, this Big Dog can definitely hunt! Soft pepper and smooth tannins, slight black cherry make this a winner with Ferrero Rocher and House of Lies. — 10 years ago

Refined and nicely balanced with full body and rich fragrance — 9 years ago
Inky violet red. Green pepper is less prominent and the body is juicier and fruitier than other cheap Bordeaux I've had. Oak age defines this: the tannins are big but silked out considerably, and the aroma and finish are decidedly that pruney oak deal. Part of me likes the sharp raw green pepper thing, but this is much more drinkable. This is a buy-again winner. — 9 years ago
