Inky violet red. Green pepper is less prominent and the body is juicier and fruitier than other cheap Bordeaux I've had. Oak age defines this: the tannins are big but silked out considerably, and the aroma and finish are decidedly that pruney oak deal. Part of me likes the sharp raw green pepper thing, but this is much more drinkable. This is a buy-again winner. — 10 years ago

Quite nice. Cinnamon and lavender on the nose. Light red fruit on the front. Medium tannic body with tart tannins on the roof of the mouth, but it has a soft finish with just hint of citrus. Not a great wine, but very drinkable! — 7 years ago
