Inky violet red. Green pepper is less prominent and the body is juicier and fruitier than other cheap Bordeaux I've had. Oak age defines this: the tannins are big but silked out considerably, and the aroma and finish are decidedly that pruney oak deal. Part of me likes the sharp raw green pepper thing, but this is much more drinkable. This is a buy-again winner. — 9 years ago
Incredibly drinkable. Great classic saint emilion nose. Lovely vanilla finish. Great value. Extremely enjoyable. — 12 years ago

This smooth, berry blend makes for a wonder night cap after a filling pasta dinner! No bite, very lite in flavor. Great price here in the Ozarks. — 7 years ago

Has the mouthfeel of that thing where you're at a party where you don't really know the hosts but they pour a fancy champagne they've been saving for a while and you're like 'hmm kind of tastes like dusty sourdough..but maybe I like it?' but you only got a half glass so you're not sure, but in this case I had the whole bottle to myself. — 5 years ago
