Big, dark fruit come through along with a generous but not overbearing amount of oak. A solid combination of acidity and grippy tannins round it out. The finish is long and enjoyable. It’s well put-together and would be fun to revisit a few years down the road. — 7 years ago
Really good. 10$ at Costco — 8 years ago
This was dynamite for the price. Needed some time to open up but after about 2 hours in a decanter, it sang. Rich texture reminiscent of some of Von Niepperg's higher end estates. What I loved most was the absolute seamless and perfect integration of oak on this bottle. Rarely have I been as pleased with the oaking regiment of a wine as I was with this wine. Perfectly sweet oak and vanilla coming through without being too prevalent. A beauty of a bottle for $25. — 8 years ago

As good a Grand Vin De Bordeaux as I've had...a steal from Garigiste — 9 years ago
Suggested by the buyer at Costco. Good price point, good taste. A bit better after breathing. I'd definitely have it again. — 10 years ago
Smooth and a wonderful blend. — 10 years ago
Interesting, sharp but not too heavy — 11 years ago
Typical scent of vanilla, baking spice, dill, fruit, and red fruit. Lots of energy on the palate, a little smokey character, earthiness, and spice. Mineral finish. Rambunctious, but good. I like it! — 7 years ago
Balanced, fruity, great with a juicy filet — 7 years ago
Decant for at least an hour, very good. Full bodied and tannic. Nice old world funk. — 8 years ago

Solid red. Nice stone fruit characteristics. Had the 2011 several months later and it tasted like it was past its prime! — 7 years ago
Balanced and tasty. Drinking really well. — 7 years ago
Drank 2/19/18. Paired with roasted chicken.
The nose of sweet stewed plums and red berries is quite expressive. Still present, but mild, well integrated tannins lend structure to cassis and earth flavors. Medium finish. This could go a few more years, but is in a sweet spot now. I dont think it will improve further, so drink now. Fully mature.

Thanks @JT for a great bottle. — 7 years ago
A Costco home run, I think this was like 10 bucks. What a great value, this drinks like something much more than that. I'm drinking the 11 and based on the reviews there is clearly some variation between vintages. Mine drinks like a dry old world cab and merlot blend. Nice structure and finish will some oak and not much fruit. Very good. Decanted for 6 hours and it really sings. Will buy more, a lot more. — 8 years ago
Just got better as the night wore on. 2006. — 9 years ago
Great fruit and earth on nose, medium bodied Merlot with balance. Awesome value — 9 years ago
Boozey. Smells like butterscotch and vanilla. Notes of honey, figs, sweet plums, and peach. Very sweet. — 10 years ago
