I visited Bourg a few years back. I like the weight of the wines and especially like what seems to be the trademark lead/pencil shavings flavours, perhaps a little graphite too. Lots of interest for a tenner and generally lovely. Look forward to trying some other vintages in the future. — 7 years ago

Intense ruby red color and followed by nice aromas of blackfruits, cigar box, and vanilla on the nose. Full-bodied with concentrate flavors of ripe plum, blackberry jam, and mocha on the palate. Solid texture, strong & smooth tannins followed by soft medium length on the finish. Sexy, like it & great value for money. — 8 years ago
