I almost never post about a 9 dollar bottle of wine I opened with my Chinese food but I had to make an exception. This wine was lovely. Tons of pepper and tannin that reminds me of chateaunuf. Excellent. Thanks JR — 8 years ago

Full bodied with deep red colour. A complex bouquet. 2007 grand cru. Recommended — 11 years ago
Bärig, vanilj, jordgubbar och choklad. Tät och oväntat mycket tryck i flabben. Lite peppar. Jag vill hävda att detta är minst lika gott som en del dyrare fransoser. Ett fynd! — 11 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
The Vieille Voye vineyard was planted before the 16th century by the Pontigny abbots, who named it after the old Roman road that connected Burgundy with Champagne. This single Vineyard is a big step above their entry level wine. Nose of ripe fruit with sweet spice. On the palate ripe peach and tropical fruit and sweet spice coming from 11 months of oak aging. Lingering finish, lively acidity ending with chalky mineral tones. Tasting Sample. — 6 years ago
