Beautiful deep golden color, aromas are slightly buttery, not overly oaky, grass, lemon grass, citrus, and apricots. Nice and floral, and very drinkable. Would be great paired with southeast Asian foods. — 6 years ago
Very easy to drink by itself. — 7 years ago
This superstar estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape also produces one of the finest versions of Côtes-du-Rhône Rosé. Impressively concentrated and focused, with spice-tinged red berry, mineral and citrus fruit flavors, the 2017 shows superb clarity. A great match with strongly seasoned grilled foods. $23.00 (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, August 2018) — 7 years ago

Very profound nose which reminded me of a couple of bottles I had of clos du marquis. I said saint Julien but wasn’t sure. Blackcurrant, coffee, meat, tea... different layers. I was pretty sure at that point that it was a grand cru classé... the palate is not that wide and powerful. I thought then grand cru classé but in a small recent year. 2011 or 2013. The palate was evolving around an acid backbone with fine tannins and a lovely yet discreet fruit. Moderately long finish with fruit, coffee again and a pinch of salt. I finally went for haut marbuzet 2011. I was far away from it! Always trust a first impression. Superb nose, palate a bit under delivering when the nose raises such expectations. Overall lovely and well done. — 7 years ago
Smooth but with character - almost reminds me of a rioja — 9 years ago
I really liked the wine considering I'm not a big white wine drinker. The citrus fruity flavor is delightful. Hits of grapefruit and lemon twist. Not dry at all. — 9 years ago

Our favourite rose. Delicate light fruity flavours, dry and well balanced. We have been drinking this wine over a number of years and it is consistant; always a pleasure. — 10 years ago
