Fridge wine, but good fridge wine (ours)..... — 11 years ago
Great! Amazingly mild. Leather and tobacco. Need my pipe. — 4 years ago
Pity about the nose, it’s quite corked but this has not affected the wine, wonderful fruit, great balance between tannin and acid, lovely structure. — 7 years ago
The 2015 Pezat Red, Jonathan Maltus's entry-level red, is flat-out delicious. Sweet red cherry and plum fruit are front and center in this racy, open-knit wine. There is much to like, including the wine's very accessible price. I would prefer to drink this succulent Saint-Émilion over the next few years, while the fruit retains its youthful vibrancy. Any of you ever had this? I've never had a bottle from this producer. The nose screamed Sangiovese at me! But it does taste like Bordeaux. Fruity, a little bitter, but doing well at 10 years. I think it's peaked.
