Michael Pozzan Winery

Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon 2011

Well everybody wants a big 'ol Napa Cab right? Well too bad Running Dogs of Imperialist Lackeys as Mao would say. Chairman Dana says I like a medium body well structured Sonoma Cab that's reasonably priced and when the Cultural Revolution comes I'll kick back with a bottle of Michael Pozzan's Cab and watch it all go down. Lots of leather and blackberry and enough oak to keep the Napa snobs happy but a smooth finish and very nice secondary notes of spice to keep it from being too heavy. Find this and try a test run Capitalists! — 11 years ago

Dry Creek Zinfandel 2013

Quite the tasty Zin -- full bodied for sure and a little bit spicy as a good Zin can be, but flavor profiles that hint more of a syrah than classic big zin. A keeper! — 10 years ago

Château Tertre de Launay

Entre-Deux-Mers White Bordeaux Blend 2010

Love the minerality; quite dry, hints of citrus. Not quite enough to slice through the heat of the Pad Kee Mao, but would drink again. — 11 years ago

Mendocino County Pinot Noir 2009

Alluring aromas of ripe black cherries, blackberries, bay spice and slight earthy terroir. On the front palate lush and concentrated with broad flavors of ripe strawberry and raspberry fruits. Structured acidity, round and mouth filling, will lead to a long warm finish. — 11 years ago

Famille Castel

Very Pech Vin Blanc

Great for lovers of sweet wine. The peach flavoring adds to the sweetness. If in need of light wine for a nice summer evening, this should definitely be in your consideration set. — 12 years ago

Ermes Pavese

Blanc de Morgex et de la Salle Prié Blanc 2010

Delicious white pech, honey, white flower, fresh green apple, lemon on the nose. Bit concentrated than 14 but still in bright side. Complex aroma. Med body, med p acid, silky smooth texture covered my palate. Dry minerality and sage savory herbal finish on the back. Perfect oyster wine, med plus finish of complex white peach and minerality. Yum. Very elegant — 10 years ago
