Château Mourgues Du Gres

Domaine Gres St. Vincent

Côtes du Rhône Villages 2016

Vintage after vintage, just a joy to drink! Deep, dark wild berries, a bright pop of acidity, and a touch of white pepper on the finish. Any wine from this co-op will not disappoint any Rhône lover. — 7 years ago

Les Galets Rouges Costières-de-Nîmes

Manure. Leather. That old world funk, all up in my nose. I love it. Pair it with the deep, dry black fruit in the mouth, and I'm transported back to a quiet evening in Carcassonne. — 8 years ago

Domaine Gres St. Vincent

Côtes du Rhône Red Rhône Blend

Great natural Grenache/Syrah blend. Mildly funky, ripe stone fruit, chalky earth, black pepper notes. Great food or table wine. — 5 years ago

Ardeche Gres du Trias Viognier 2017

Peach and pear aroma; peach and floral flavours fading into a slightly bitter mineral finish — 6 years ago

Château Mourgues du Gres

Galets Rouges Costieres De Nimes

As with all wine, the food accompanying the wine influences your opinion. We all found this wine rather good tonight (casserole with barley, lamb & pork belly). A little too much alcohol warmth perhaps but ............. — 7 years ago

Château Mourgues du Gres

Vin de Pays du Gard Terre d'Argence White Rhone Blend 2015

2015. Tasted and purchased from the domaine in Beaucaire, France. My favorite of their whites. Pale gold color. Light aroma of tropical yellow fruit and white flowers. The palette is full of flavor: juicy yellow apple and little tart pineapple, cleansing acidity, and a nice medium dry finish with some stony minerality. Like bottled sunshine from the south of France. Blend of viognier from Pont du Gard, roussanne, and petit manseng (the latter two are grown on plots around the winery where wildflowers grow next to grapes). 14.5% ABV. — 8 years ago

Grand Cru Wiebelsberg "Gres Rose" Riesling

Strikingly fragrant nose and intense palate. Juicy palate that finishes bone dry, stony and lengthy. Crunchy tart apple and citrus. Stand out amongst six Grand Crus from the same vintage and producer. — 5 years ago
