Lovely Red Blend that is about to be purchased by Muton . Currently a great value but expect the price to increase . Worth buying now and keeping for a number of years . It will only get better — 9 years ago
Fantastic. Wish I had bought two of them. — 10 years ago
Still huge. Can age another 5-10 yrs and will be more well integrated. Tannins were big. It outshone the clerc milon. — 11 years ago
Tonight was our own micro Judgement of Paris with our friend Jean who makes Clerc Milon. It was a dual of 96's. 96 BVT vs. 96 Lynch Bages. Seems fair, right??? Two mostly comparable producers from the same year. Not sure how you make it much more fair. While both wines were very enjoyable, there has to be a winner right? The BVT; thicker, more broad, darker, more baking spice, finishing with a touch of Caramel & Congac. The Lynch Bages; bright dark and light cherries, soft, pure with the Bordeaux earthiness. Oh...forgot to mention, we tasted them blind. So, who won...CA or Bordeaux? We all agreed it was the BVT. Especially, early on. After an hour, it got a little closer but the BVT prevailed. Fun side by side tasting. One of the best I've done in awhile. — 9 years ago
Full-bodied, well-rounded Bordeaux. — 10 years ago
Very enjoyable and drinkable now. Brighter red fruit notes compared to the 96 clerc milon; softer tannins; longer finish — 11 years ago

Order a case if near 19 a bottle . Somewhat complex, earthy, rich but not grapy 2015 vintage — 8 years ago
Really need to give time to decant. 2+ hours. Velvety soft structure but still hints of the youthful power. Reminiscent a Clerc-Milon — 9 years ago

Like this wine- easy to drink with hints of berries. Can go with many different types of cuisines even lighter flavored ones. — 7 years ago
