Loved the 2010. Deep flavors. — 4 years ago
Cerises noires, prunes et vanille dans un bel équilibre... un délice

This is a great wine. Weightier than a typical rose, almost as heavy as a chard or viognier. The acid has mellowed in the bottle some, but there’s plenty of structure to let the flavors come through. Rose water, raspberry, and strawberry notes with just a hint of tannin. Fantastic with a rich and spice-heavy chicken dish. — 7 years ago
Liked the acidity and the earthy taste of this wine. Maybe the fruitiness was a little on the low end. — 8 years ago

Actually 80% Colombard, 20% Chardonnay. Loved it!!! Had with Ryan & Katie and we downed it so fast — 8 years ago
Bright golden yellow color. Intense nose with dried apricots and grapes, flowers, honey, quince, bit of perfume. On the palate well balanced with medium weight, good length, elegant sweetness. Grapes of Sémillon 80%, Sauvignon 15% and muscadelle 5%. Estate is one of the oldest properties of Barsac – from the 15th century. Since 1971 belongs to Guignard family. 20 ha of vineyards are close to Garonne river and create an exceptional micro-climate for development of Botrytis. Producer is free to choose between Sauternes AOP or Barsac AOP for their sweet wines. Rating 4,0/5 — 9 years ago

2017 vintage. A bit of a curiosity as this 4 hectares vineyard is situated on an island in the Ciron river. After years of abandonment it was bought and restaured by the Lamothe family (Château Haut-bergeron). 80% Sémillon and 20% Sauvignon blanc. More freshness compared to the 2016 vintage with ripe pineapple and flowers on the nose. Not especially profound but a very nice lightweight Sauternes with good acidity and good almondy length. Good value too at 23 EUR. — 4 years ago
2011. Really well balanced. Some meaty and savory herbal aromas that are very nice. Medium light body, but should go well with the roast I have in the oven. Thank you for the bottle @Paul Krzych! — 6 years ago
