Pronounced mix of floral and mineral notes on both the nose and first sip--almost like an earthy, light red! But ripe lemons and pink grapefruit come on the back end and linger a while, only to have the floral return. Full bodied with lots of acid. An interesting, if odd balance of notes. — 10 years ago

Mmmm. Smells like poop, not too dark. Easy and firm in the front, juicy and never ending on the back. The J-Lo of wines ... — 11 years ago

A lovely Côtes du Rhône, blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Carignan. Typical French gravely quality of a CDR. Nice to drink on its own, but would probably pair well with pasta with bolognese sauce, lamb stew or grilled chicken or pork. A great value for just $10. — 9 years ago

Jas an effervescent approach. The nose is very earthy and has that barnyard tone but the taste and finish is the opposite! The fruit is very elegent and velvety and the finish just does not want to go away. — 13 years ago
