1982 Haut Brion. Dinner w J&D B at Best. Drank after the ‘85 Sassicaia. Did not decant either. This wine was excellent, but if we had to choose a favorite, we all agreed it would be the Sassicaia. His was lively, but Sassicaia just had more freshness to the fruit and richness to it, though this did have fruit to it. Excellent wine. Just an unfair comp. — 7 years ago
