I'm fairly new to Girard wines, but really quite fond of this cab blend. I've tasted the '11 as well and this seems to be a step above. Really opens nicely after a bit of a decant...medium bodied but full of great flavor. — 8 years ago
Always been fond of Paloma after enjoying such a lovely tasting at the estate with the owner surrounded by hummingbirds and feeling like part of the family! Enjoyed the last of our three bottles of the '07 with Bill and Amy during graduation after we did a little Coravin blind taste. Soft and definitely ready to go. Delicate red fruits and very mellowed acid and tannin. — 9 years ago

Whatever words I would use to describe how amazing the 96 was with our Prime Rib Roast last night would simply fall short & never do it justice.
The evolution that took place in this bottle after 21 years was never conceived by anyone tasting it upon release or young. It has made a epic leap and simply heaven on the palate.
Oh...as a friend of mine was always fond of saying...”The Prime Rib Roast didn’t suck either!”
I wanna do this again real soon. OMG!!!
Still processes me this morning.

House gift from Argentina part 2: a gran reserva Trapiche, quite elegant & nimble despite the 14.5%. Oak monster integrated but is in the foreground- gets better w air. Crushed red fruits, cassis edges. All in all a very smooth drinking & balanced affair. — 5 years ago

I am not usually a fan of Chardonnay, mostly because it is often aged in oak which I'm not fond of. However, the bartender recommended this particular Chardonnay and told me the story behind it and I really enjoyed it. Can't wait to drink it again! — 8 years ago
Good wine ! Medium body and dry but also with a bit of plum — 9 years ago
All Grenache. Very easy to drink, not very complex. Great alone. — 9 years ago
Very generous wine, charred oak came through quite pronounced however. a beautiful and rich wine with a very 1990 feel. I am fond of the 93 over the 90. The Griotte is totally killer — 9 years ago
