Dark Bing cherry hue. Aroma is potent. Pie filling and cobblers. Slight incense and cedar shingles. (Aude says stale bread). Flavor is straight French. Dark inky, chewy, bitter. Lots of tannins in the finish. The Franc really comes through. A wine that would divide. Not for the American palate. Nor weak of heart. But I love this kinda thing. — 6 years ago
