A good reasonably priced bordeaux. Decanted for 30 min and by the second glass it opened up nicely. Raspberry, currant, and a touch of oak. — 9 years ago
So great. Grateful to have had the opportunity to taste all her reds from the same vintage. So incredibly expressive of their terroir. No exception here. — 9 years ago

This really bloomed with air. On the lean side, as expected. But was a great foil to seated duck breast. — 10 years ago

Raspberry and spice to the nose. Raspberry spice leather and herb to the palate. Nice rounded mouthfeel with a long finish. Wonderful now with the potential to age awhile. — 8 years ago
Went to a Pierre Fernrand tasting, sampled sa 72' vintage and some of their other cognacs but they're one the more reasonable priced cognacs compared to the big name brands like Hennessy. Good stuff. — 8 years ago
The very best. Excellent in a Mai Tai, along with Appleton 12 and Clement VSOP. — 9 years ago

Quite a chalky mineral note, creamy, leesy. Apple and peach. Good balance, chalky, decent texture, lightly warm on the finish. Savoury length. Good. — 10 years ago

Deep in color and flavor. Smooth, no tannins(make sure to decant for an hour). A little dry. — 10 years ago
Crisp minerality on the first sip that becomes a full, round, buttery flavor in the mouth. Truly delicious and a wonderful value. — 10 years ago

Working backwards from the Languedoc and Cab this Bordeaux blend was complex and the '09 ready to drink now. Not as austere as I expected with a good amount of subtlety on the initial impression and really nice finish. — 8 years ago
