Earthy and red cherry with moderate plus acidty, light mouthfeel. Medium finish and pleasant tannins that lingered awhile. Definitely a fan. — 9 years ago

Incredibly complex, rich aroma. Velvety and smooth on the tongue. Almost no linger or aftertaste though. — 10 years ago
A rich wine with so much to offer. The spice and acidity are exceptional — 11 years ago
Cheese and funk aromas, this was complex front to back, not for everyone but I rather liked its multi-faceted personality. — 11 years ago
Elegant, sexy, yet humble in its restaint. Floral, citrus leaves, ocean breeze. We enjoyed it with carnita tacos, and good company. — 13 years ago
Cuvee of Merlot and Cabernet Franc (possibly with some Malbec and/or Petit Verdot)
Mature brownish red garnet. Transparent but youthful for its age.
Classic claret perfume from the first second of opening and kept getting better as the night went on. Truffle, shiitake mushroom, old leather, potpourri.
Complete integration with no sign of stumbling over the hill. Bright red fruit, smoky cedar, earthy soil tone, cooking spices. The mouthfeel is supple and elegant, no excess or pretension. Clean and fully mature.
A birthday bottle opened for by a dear friend and a reason why I am so devoted to this wonderful journey. Last long in memory. 92. — 8 years ago
Not a classified area but lovely wine from an old orchard. Poor soil and steep so vines have to struggle. Dark fruits and very concentrated. Barrel sample. — 9 years ago
Pure. Red fruit on attack but still wound tight when first opened which leads me to believe it could age for some time. — 9 years ago
Smooth but with character - almost reminds me of a rioja — 9 years ago
A very nice Big Bordeaux blend - a wonderfully expressive bouquet to start & continues on the palette with a nice mature red fruit with the classic Bordeaux finish - bring along a nice meal to pair this with! — 9 years ago
