A rare find, Kalin Cellars only releases to its mailing list. It's very difficult, indeed to find an example of an aged California Semillon. The nose is lush, with layers of dried apricots and pear jelly, marzipan and brown butter sauce. In the mouth, it's equally rich, glycerolly and silky...walnut oil, mandarin orange. An incredible treat and absolutely lovely with Salade Niçoise with seared Ahi tuna. — 12 years ago
