La Chapelle hits it out of the ballpark! Here is a Mâcon chard at under $20 that should be purchased by the case. A delicious hint of tropical fruits and no hint of oak on the palate. Some oak and pain grille aromas, but the balance here is spot on. This is a great find by Peter Weygandt. — 8 years ago

A great time at The Capital Grille deserves some great wines. We had a few and ran the Napa gamut. The Insignia was up first and it did not disappoint. They always have a nice complexity of flavors battling it out for attention. One moment it is an early blackberry and the next it is a bright plum. Truly enjoyable. — 9 years ago

The Mt Brave, Mt Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon is a great match for their bone-in filet mignon. Dark, rich, gentle structure and deep fruits. Pear, stone, oak, more spring than autumn. A breezy spring day with a few dry leaves still blowing down the walkway. Buds on the branches. Glad I'm wearing a sweater. Here comes the sun. Another sip... take a deep clean breath. The grille comes out of the shed for that lovely white fleshed fish with lemon and olive oil. Crusty bread. Asparagus. Jazz or just the birds?
