Bought on site 2014; had with Leone e Bonstra 1/2/2023. Slightly past prime as very smooth and velvety but low on tannin. — a month ago
Good balance of smoke, tannins earth. Less smoky than the pommard — 3 months ago
Pretty much any chat-neuf will be delightful, and this was certainly wonderful.
It had the classic stone fruit and garrigue nose, clean tannins, medium mouthfeel with great length. It paired beautifully with our cognac and Dijon beef stew. — a month ago
I don't have enough Cognac experience yet for a proper rating but I really like this. Very earthy, cool soil tones (trying not to say basement floor) in the aroma. Butterscotch and caramelized tones on the tongue. A pleasant experience. — 9 months ago
