Blackberries, blueberries, black plum, raspberries. The fruit is big and lush. Spice; star anise, touch of white pepper. Vanilla, oaky, leathery. Better in 5 years when it's had more time to resolve. Paired well with the filet, polenta with gravy at Ristorante Due Colombe. — 10 years ago
