@Michael Herzog This is really great stuff, had the 2000 on release, and that bottle sent me into a love affair with white Burgundy. Just wish it wasn't getting so damn pricey.

@Ira Schwartz red fruit was generous with a hint of leather, but really needed a big glass and a lot of time to get going, not peak yet IMO. I generally like how '04's are doing now, and this was a very nice bottle last night. I think overpriced though. No green notes to speak of.

@Severn Goodwin appreciate the insights . Funny I had my friend buy it after another friend told me no green to speak of. I think he paid about $180. Imo that was “reasonable” .
After he generously shared a bottle with with me I felt good about my suggesting he purchase.

You are a lucky one to taste this, I think $180 is reasonable as well, just for this experience, I thought the Volnay & Gevrey ('08's) paired on either side of this bottle at our dinner were more generous in the voluptuous fruit category, and both were lower cost. I've also had several of the Hudelot-Noëllat '04's in the past, I'd recommend those as well.
