Why is this so good?! — 11 years ago
50% Grenache, 35% Syrah, 15% Rolle. Rose petal, strawberry, watermelon, ruby red grapefruit. Juicy, vibrant acid. Nicely balanced — 12 years ago
75% Grenache, 25% Syrah -- full bodied, not too tannic — 13 years ago
Spot-on, classic, perfectly delineated Saint Joseph. This is the elegant and pretty side of Syrah. Flowing waves of violets and black pepper lift effortlessly out of the glass with bright red fruits. Mid palate is silk and nearly weightless with fine tannins. Low alcohol and neutral oak profile allow for a very pure expression. Hints of game on the finish with a lingering minerality and a fresh, spicy peppercorn character that would be lovely with a variety of meats and herbs. Beautiful wine that I look forward to revisiting over the next 2-3 years. — 8 years ago
Like it a lot. Smooth red. Total wine. Erv likes too. — 9 years ago
L'elegance d'un Bordeaux avec le petit extra de générosité. Une puissance mûre, avec cette belle fluidité. On en veut encore. — 10 years ago
Colin's feet...well not this vintage, but in principle — 10 years ago

Very tasty. Full bodied fruit and earth/spice. More of a "new world" southern rhone if there is such a thing. Delish and inexpensive. — 10 years ago
