Nice would buy again — 10 years ago
Very nice golden apple, spiced pear, and yeasty aromas with an apple, stewed pineapple, lemon curd, and caramel palate... Great with butternut squash soup and ginger. — 11 years ago
Staged a Chardonnay tasting for daughter with price and region being topics. Class act of the group. Blew '98 Bonneau du Martray Corton-Charlemagne out of the water (at 1/3 the price). Light on its feet but packed with flavor. Very Burgundian. Kudos to Ric. — 12 years ago
not as fresh as the 96 bonneau, and pretty sweet 07 fruit but still so rayas — 7 years ago
Really rich, deep, delicious pour. — 8 years ago

So smooth, loved it! — 10 years ago
Frenchie wine bar. Spicy. Well balanced. Apparently dirtiest wine cellar in France. — 10 years ago
1998. Words can't describe how delicious this wine was. — 10 years ago

Tasted blind. I brought this so I gave options. The group easily picked it out to be a 14' white burg. Village was a little harder, but I made the mistake of putting NSG in the mix of typically white areas - made it far too suspicious. Oh well.
Concentrated, rich, and balanced. Nose was very floral and mineral. Lemon, peach, and pears, some spice. Stunning wine to say the least. CJ commented that this could pull off as a Bonneau Corton. I thought it looked like a Les Clos, without the iodine notes. — 8 years ago
Very nice smooth blend. Excellent value. — 9 years ago
Fruity and light with lots of flavor, easy to drink. A bit tart. — 9 years ago
peppery and long on the palate, nice complexity but still lots of time for this wine to age gracefully... — 10 years ago
2012 very delicious fantastic crisp sweet!!!!! — 10 years ago
Much more subtle and soft than many other Bonneau Chardonnay I have enjoyed but makes it all the more quaffable! Great textures and creamy butterscotch flavors with grilled pineapple and spiced pear. Golden apple finish which is medium plus. — 10 years ago
Nice little chard from Carneros. Baked apple some oak, great for roast chicken or broiled fish. — 12 years ago

Love this style and Chateauneuf du Pape in general. Animale nose (but no Brett!). Also Raspberries Blackberries Earth and Thyme. Sweet red berries on palate with grainy tannins and a touch of bitumen. First introduced to the Wines of Henri Bonneau a few years ago in CDP in a restaurant where I was lucky enough to have had a “Celestines “ which was a WOW Wine for me. Henri passed away last year but his Wines live on Current vintages made by his son. — 7 years ago
