Starts off a bit hot, but burns off quickly. Medium plus bodied with finesse. Pleasant acidity and restrained tannins. Subtle hints of terroir. — 9 years ago
Was at a steak house with expensive wine list but found the hole in the list. This was very well priced for the list and was enjoyed greatly by the group of us eating. Drank the 2011 as well that night. (Wine list quoted the year as 2007 but knew must be a mistake and of course it was). — 9 years ago

Savory aromas of dark cherry and white pepper lead to bright flavors of pomegranate and truffles. Higher acid style with medium heavy tannins. Group thought it was an more refined Barolo - so kudos to the winemaking crew. Drink over the next 10-12 years (2025-2027) — 9 years ago
Huge mouthful of deep dark fruit. Thanks to Howard and Ron F. Great full bodied Pinot! Awesome. With group on Monday Night at Chophouse ! — 9 years ago
1/2 Syrah, 43% Grenache - this central coast Red has black fruit, a little cocoa & espresso layered into the aromatics. Great Job by Carlo Trinchero & Josh Phelps, the duo behind the "Taken" wine project. Excited to try the 2012 which got a 90 from tasting panel & the 2013 Chardonnay which received 91 from wine enthusiast. — 9 years ago
Need a Leo at your party? Looking for that gal who can charm the pants off a discerning group of hopeless wanderers? This is your gal. She's a people pleaser with a penchant for citrus and lemongrass. This is the city gal of summer wines. Crisp, refreshing and a pallet pleaser. Allegedly loves seafood (this according to match.com). — 10 years ago
