Thanks @Jim Westby for packing this claret for our trip to Yosemite. We grilled up Fred Steak to pair with it, and this powerful, virile '93 had the power and cut for the rich, flavor y tri-tip. Wow- this is how I remember some of the excellent 1990 vintage Bordeaux's at this age! The texture has arrived, but the wine is loaded with currant fruit. This had the acid to cut the waygu ribeye and more complexity than I expected. — 9 years ago
