1979 Inglenook. Where am I? — 10 years ago
This comes out every year from January till April, or when it sells out, and it always does, my all time favorite from this brewery, big double, borders on triple this year IPA, this one is just so big in the many west coast hops, I.B.U. are 90, AVB 9.5% Outstanding tropical and citrus notes, Almost perfect Double IPA, as it warms up, the AVB's kick in, last few years in was lower, 9%, but the hops this year, which they call Experimental Hops, Millennium, Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, are not anymore, but the combination of these hops are Awesome , and because it is brewed super fresh. and dry hopped, this is just one beer, one IPA, no hop head should not have, if you do not, you are a fool, Great, Great beer — 10 years ago
My favourite reisling — 12 years ago
Tipple from work. This is actually really good bubbles. Some bottle age too (disg 2010 Underrated perhaps, although it has its accolades. If I had one complain is that it challenges my idea of BdB - broader than expected, maybe due to the generous dosage.
Rich style. Stone-fruit driven nose with ample autolytic characters courtesy of 42 months on lees. Some aldehydes enriching the compexity. Honey and subtle vanilla notes. Palate's all about lemon curd and cream (dosage again?). Good acid and finish. — 8 years ago
Opening now...
So, some smoke and pepper attacks. Decent drying tannins at the end. I was expecting more but who I am to question a centennial edition.

Re-review of this classic landmark beer, why? New label, new description on label, this was and still is such a important beer in the craft beer Community, brewed since 1997 and still stands as one of the best IPA' s in the world, Centennial, Chinook and Magnum hops give it that classic base of West Coast IPA, that started the whole IPA movement in other beers and breweries, this was the beer that set the stage for what is now the great IPA 's in the west and east coast, such a monumental and important beer, The influence cannot be understated, still as I said, it holds its place as a great beer today — 9 years ago
2015 version, better than last year, maybe because I got this super fresh, big grassy floral hops, the key thing about this beer that makes it different and unique, is the wet hop process, the fresh hops are picked and delivered to the brewery within 24 hours and put in the tank, a very good example of this process, cascade and centennial hops are used, still one dimensional for me as far as IPA's go, but a very good beer, one worth picking up fresh, fresh is the difference, so I will give it a higher rating than last year — 10 years ago
Bright, fruity, rich. — 10 years ago
Yum. Warrior simcoe and centennial hops — 10 years ago
Just over 1500 bottles were made; it was fermented and aged for four months in French oak, from centennial vineyard - very elegant, with nice balance, multi layered with few fruit notes, it delivers nice intensity - well I could get a few more bottles to stock in my cellar :) — 10 years ago
Let me this clear as possible, Ballast Point Brewery is one of the Best breweries on the west coast, there is nothing they do that is not great to outstanding, this one is great, what over shadows it is "Sculpin" which is Outstanding, so this seems not as good, but please do not be so quick to judge, this one holds up to the style 100%, it is a excellent west coast IPA, big big Centennial hops, maybe some Columbus, seems there is some debate on that, no matter, it had a great Carmel back bone that balances the great hops, it is one beer that stands on its own, Great stuff — 10 years ago
I like rockpike zin. Super concentrated. Big fruit, nice tannins. Well balanced and a decent value. — 11 years ago
A very west coast IPA to the tee, citrusy, piney, a touch of malt to support the nice hops, Magum, Willamette, Casade, Citra, Columbus, Centennial, Chinook, Two Row Vienna Dextrapils malts, Classic style West Coast, One of my home town breweries here in Henderson Nevada, Very good — 9 years ago
Very good west coast IPA, nice hop profile, summit, Simco, centennial hops, peach, grapefruit, orange, earthy, piney, great beer — 9 years ago
This to me is a near perfect IPA, Citra, Motueka, Centennial hops, two row catapults, crystal 10 Wheat, dank, tropical, 75 IBU's very drinkable, west coast at its finest — 9 years ago
Ramses Bier Den Dorstigen Tijger Single Hop Centennial Hooge Zwaluwe Holland — 9 years ago
Bright and ripe! Very clean red fruit. — 10 years ago
Warning!!! This beer lives up to its name, new 2015 release, 150 IBU's , 9.5% ABV, this is only for real hop heads, big Columbus and Centennial Hops, little, and I mean little tropical fruit, what you really taste is a insane about of bitterness, like sucking on a grapefruit, tea and herbal notes as well, as for me I Love it, but I am a hop head, rating this beer in the style, and of course the name, this will wreck your pallet, make this the last beer after others if you are session beers, Great Beer — 10 years ago
A really wild, wild ale with bold funky flavours. — 10 years ago
When drinking back to back with the Stags Leap I just didn't like this one as much. A little thin and acidic for me. — 11 years ago
A very yummy Pinot. It has great spice through it which provides great depth to this wine — 12 years ago

Nice fruit not too over done. However just a bit off on the fruit flavor. Kind of black and dark. Finish is medium, not to long — 8 years ago
