A single vineyard Parellada from a forested parcel in Penedés at 700m. Native yeast primary and ML in concrete over the winter. Pretty floral aromatics, mingled with forest floor herbaceous tones, and a hint of beeswax. A short finish makes it a very fun and different white for seafood, grilled veggies or just porch pounding. — 8 years ago
Beautiful color with full body and richness. Fantastic bubbles. Minerals and salty notes in the nose. The mouth is fine with mild notes of something like star fruit and a bitter and almost woody finish. — 8 years ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Aurèlia is named after the grandmother of the Junyent family. A blend of Chardonnay, Xarel-lo, Macabeo & Parellada, stone fruit aromas with biscuit notes, good bubbles, great structure and mouthfeel. Apple, peach and citrus fruit, perfect acidity, well balanced. Lingering finish with toasty mineral notes. Try it if you can grab your hands on a bottle. — 7 years ago
