Comment: Beautifully balanced nose that makes your skin crawl. This Barolo has deep baking spice notes balanced with herbs humid hay and a warm peppery balsamic finish. Pepper hits the palate first followed by dried herbs (organo, thyme) and a slight cherry/strawberry finish. Silky smooth tannins that give this a beautiful mouthfeel! Yum! — 10 years ago
I want to crawl in to the glass and make myself a home- is that so wrong?? Incredible CA Pinot from Kistler — 10 years ago
Wow. This was a 2003. Drinking fantastic now. Deep fruit and super relaxed tannins. I want to crawl inside the glass and never leave. — 10 years ago

Beautifully balanced! I want to crawl inside the bottle. — 9 years ago
Beautiful wine. Finesse truly. Not a Chianti that one would expect. If you can source it good for you. I've got another 8 in my crawl space — 10 years ago

Big, silky, sexy wine. Crawl in the glass and stay as long as you can. — 10 years ago
Awwwwww shit! It could be because I was drinking this at 10am. It could be because I had a bitch of a week and this was a nice way to end it. It could be a combination of both but, this wine lit my pants on fire. So lovely. So precise. I tried to crawl into the bottle and was reprimanded. — 11 years ago
Fabulous. Savory, succulent, bright, substantial and refreshing. Garnacha and Carignane- Monsant crawl continues in Barcelona. — 13 years ago
Oh the sassy funk of an Austrian red. The fruit profile is complex and changes and you roll it around in your mouth. Strawberries, spiced cherries, boysenberries, coconut, tomatoes? Christmas spices, dried herbs and flowers crawl out of the glass. Tannins and acidity trade blows on the palate. There's something so unpredictable about this blend. Keep digging! — 9 years ago
Oldest California Cabernet Sauvignon I've tasted to date that's held up beautifully. Stored under a house crawl space for many years. So happy I got to try it. — 10 years ago
A post-thanksgiving crawl into Michael's dad's cellar... A little funk and manure on the nose, plus dried dark fruits and leathery, savory tones. Very pleasant drinking, medium plus body, medium tannin and acid. Would definitely stand a few more years. — 10 years ago
Great use of the screw top. Just had this with roasted beats & grilled shrimp and rice with cherry tomatoes. Yumosiskingkosis... Had a glass before and after the food as well... medium body, balanced very sippable as the first thing you grab as you crawl through the door after a rough day at work. Thank God there's a screw top, no cork screw or glass required. — 10 years ago

I am blown away! It is a great cuvee. Starts off like a strong rabbinic wine and then explodes in the mouth with four and flavors to let you crawl for more. — 9 years ago
