Best Malbec — 8 years ago
2006 Buccella is maturing beautifully. Notes of black cherry and blackberry coupled with hints of cocoa and graphite fill the glass. It has a medium to full bodied finish. Alicia and Bill have sourced some excellent fruit in every vintage produced and today Celia continues to squeeze her magic in every barrel. — 8 years ago

Another Celia Welch masterpiece — 10 years ago
This surprised me. Made by Celia Welch it started off lean, but in five minutes it blossomed to reveal glorious fruit. Just beautiful. — 11 years ago
Has a dark fruity depth that is just Devine! — 7 years ago
Another beautiful SB from the Keever Family and Celia Welch.
I've been a fan of this winery from day one and highly recommend people checking it out on a visit to Napa.
The wines are fantastic and the owners Bill and Olga (together with their children Jason and Ashley) are just some of the nicest folks in town. — 8 years ago

Wow, erster Eindruck: traumhafter Geruch! Dann der erste Schluck! Welch Geschmacksexplosion! Ein Wein wie im Paradies! — 9 years ago
The 2nd label of Buccella. Wine maker Celia Welch (Scarecrow) with another beautiful full can. Great balance of dark fruits, tannin, and a lingering finish. Where are my friends to enjoy this with me? — 9 years ago
Delicious purity of fruit. Celia welch is the wine maker (same as scarecrow) and this shares many similarities to the 2012 M Etain by scarecrow. Nose of blueberry pie with blackberry liquor on the palate accompanied by sweet tobacco wrapped up in silky smooth tannins. Finish ends with a touch of toasted marshmallow. My hunch is this will be ideal drinking in a couple years when the tannins mellow just a touch. Delicious wine — 9 years ago
Yummy... Fluid and pointed. — 10 years ago
Malbec-Syrah 2012 from Chile. Great body,, fruity and spiced flavor :) — 11 years ago
Really nice and soft Malbec-tannat blend. Big and bold with lots of structure but smooth tannins.

From our tasting back in August. Dark and deep ruby red. Slight heat on the nose, which is expected for how young this wine is. Some nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves on the nose too with dark berries. Heavy blue and black berries on the palate with some cassis. Very ripe, extracted, voluptuous and silky. Almost seems like some tighter almost mountain berries near the finish. Fully integrated moderate tannins (7.5/10) and full bodied with a little furriness. Long and lingering finish, this wine will only develop and get better with age in the bottle. Excellent work Kerrin and Celia! Drink from 2017 till 2036. (92+) — 7 years ago
Another great wine from Celia Welch, decanted for 2 hours. Excellent Berry, full body Napa Cab very smooth and soft at end. Enjoy — 8 years ago
Still has plenty of life left in it. Classic Napa Cab even though it was from a warm vintage. Very well made with cedar and cassis notes as well as plenty of red and blue berry notes up front. A steal for a wine made by Celia Welch. — 9 years ago
Celia does it again! Beautiful fruit driven Cabernet with soft tannins. Delish — 9 years ago
Still have not scarecrow. But wooooooooaaahhh. Super long finish. Oakville character with a great woody and hickory profile and deep fruit. Nice Celia welch styled wine. — 9 years ago

Jahrgang 2008! Chapeau! Deshalb liebe ich Wein! — 7 years ago
