Fantastic wine, earthy but with a long silky finish. £8.50 in Co-Op bargain — 5 years ago
Welcome Aymeric. It’s cold in Manchester, it’s cold in DC. Don’t back out... we’re Man City .. we fight to the end 💙... but football aside, nice wine but could use a bit more cab in the blend. Maybe 75 -25 or slightly higher would rock it. One of the few wines I’ve seen really drip down the sides of the glass like a whiskey... or as we say... the tears of the product — 6 years ago
A group of guys decided to meet up at our Wine Storage facility and bust out some unique bottles! Scores and notes to follow!
I have two of these courtesy of the man, the myth, the legend, @Martin G Rivard . WOW. Out of the 15+ wines that were opened tonight, this was easily in the top half, if not near the top 5. Intoxicating nose. Cork was basically black. Blueberry compote and blackberry preserves on the nose. Vanilla and plum finish. Hands down the best mixed black wine I've tasted to date. The 2015 Canon has a tightly wound bouquet with mineral rich black fruit, raspberry coulis, rose
petal and desiccated orange peel. It takes time to come together, but it does. The palate is well defined, very focused with fine minerality. This is discreet but beautifully balanced, clean and precise with a sense of energy and precision on the finish. It is less showy than its peers at the moment, which
explains why I am more parsimonious with my score. Yet the potential is locked inside this wine and it will aspire toward perfection with a decade in bottle.Tasted blind at the Southwold 2015 Bordeaux tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, July 2019) — 5 years ago

A solid 95 pointer,
I agree with everything @Ron R had to say, except I would say semi ripe raspberry.
Not ripe raspberry, get it straight Ron!

Nice GSM from the Southern Rhône. Layers of red fruit. Grippy tannins. Makes me hungry for a steak. — 5 years ago
Opened 4/17/18. Yummy wine that aged nicely. Noteworthy for the texture and intensity in the balance and sweetness. — 6 years ago
What a special amazing brand new wine -!everything to love - I am going there in April - can't wait - this is even better because my man and friend @Martin G Rivard gifted this bad boy - thank you sir - all smiles tonight — 6 years ago
Wow. This is full of cedar box and smoke, dark fruit, that french terroir of scorched earth, its medium body with smooth tannins. Decanted 1 1/2 hours.
I've had several vintages of Figeac and this one is a no nonsense vintage. Peaking in the next 1-3 years? Like my location Paul? @Paul T @Jade Moore @Jim Trobaugh @Neal Schaffer @Eric Shanks @TheSkip @Warren Sapp @Vanessa D @Bill Bender @Martin G Rivard @Connor McMahon @Neal Schaffer — 7 years ago
