Crisp apple flavor on the finish. Yum! — 9 years ago
The pale golden straw color is appealing, while the nose certainly isn’t scaring anyone away. Clean earth notes define the apple, papaya and lime aromas beautifully. The palate shows off-dry pear, apple and Meyer lemon flavors on a bed of acidity. Finishing long, it’s the earth and citrus that stays around after the sip. The wine’s body makes it a lot more versatile that just “salads and sipping.” Winemaker Markus Niggli recommends you pair it with anything off the grill. — 9 years ago

Delicious! I'm not always a fan of whites, but this one is wonderful. — 10 years ago
Absolutely stunning. Great vintage. Mostly Bacchus vineyard. One of my favorite cabs ever. — 10 years ago
Peppercorn, loamy earth and limestone meet plum on the nose. More black cherry than red, with a strong mid palate that transitions effortlessly to an elevated, almost floral (purple flowers) finish. Tannins are well integrated at this point. Enjoyed following 3 hr decant. — 10 years ago

Light & BRIGHT with mildly flinty nose--- tons of beach plum jelly & tart raspberry candy on the palate---gentle yet present grip. Gulp-able & legit fun. Fine companion to fatty duck. — 9 years ago

Lovely with roast chicken. — 9 years ago
I consider this a more full bodied wine. Typically a Cab drinker but this Merlot was quite good. Strong plum and cranberry flavors with a bit of a peppery finish. Alcohol content seems high with half glass consumed! Surprised that I am enjoying this one as much as I am. — 9 years ago
so approachable. relatively light bodied and a little bit of spice hits right at the middle of the palate. my co-op was demoing this wine a few weeks ago and I've bought tgree — 10 years ago

Less than 30 wineries when he started now there are 800. Fresh peach and apple red delicious cherry and a nice touch of mineral. Likeniting into a fresh peach a touch if sweetness but Nicely balanced acidity leaving the tongue salivating for food. Tongue tingly minerality. Finish 35+ very good+ — 12 years ago

This bottle haven been open for 24 hours was showing better than my last encounter a few weeks ago.
Light on its feet and without weight/density on the palate (due to 13.2% alc?) this has the elegant fruity/floral notes I adore in a pool-side quaffer or a light food wine.
It reminded me of Carlisle...which is a BIG compliment. — 8 years ago
