Not much on the nose, very faint fruit with a little bit of mustiness.

The flavour hits you hard. You get a full on berry attack. Mainly blackberries but also ripe juicy cherries. Very acidic and it sets your mouth alive with the acidity, amazing.

This is a light and almost refreshing red wine. It has balance and quite nice. — 10 years ago

2009 Vintage. Clear medium golden colour kind of hints the complexity it has in store. Clean to the nose with pronounced floral and lychee aroma. Medium sweetness with medium plus acidity, it is quite full bodied with some more floral, lychee, and green fruit aroma. Takes them into the finish and leaves a slight bitterness. I love a tasty $10. This is definitely one. As usual there's value in the Rhone. Went wonderfully with my veggie southwestern hash, which is no surprise, since most Rhones hold up to hearty meals. Good fruit, nice body, a little spicy, not overly complex. — 10 years ago
